A BRIEF INTRODUCTION
TO DISKING INTERNATIONAL Limited
A long, long time ago, before the internet existed, Disking was busy selling floppy disks by mail order. As the business grew so did our customer base. Disking was selling them directly to large retailers like John Lewis Stores and W.H.Smith. However, it wasn’t long until these retail giants changed to purchasing direct.
Disking needed to make changes, so it moved into the computer stationery market. Glossy Photo paper, DIY business cards and T-shirt transfers were big sellers. Inkjet printers had become affordable tools for working from home professionals.
High resolution photos printed at home was a luxury almost everyone could now afford. This market was a popular one for us with our range of “PC Pieces” popular across the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, the stationery market had become crowded and so it was time to evolve once more.
We decided to open a small retail outlet in Farnham. The store was a massive success and we soon moved into a bigger shop just 50 yards away and it wasn’t long before we opened further stores across the south.
Disking currently operates five retail outlets located in Farnham, Hindhead, Liphook, Midhurst and Petersfield.
